Les archives de trames canadiennes françaises anciennes fin 1940 présentées par Cédric Dind-Lavoie (https://cornedebrume.bandcamp.com/album/archives-c-dric-dind-lavoie) m'ont mis l'eau à la bouche pour ouïr du bon trad queb de l'ici et maintenant. Genticorum nous présentent un album 2023 décoré de turlutes, de podorythmies, de chants en coeur et d'harmonies acoustiques. I feel like in some ways this is a culmination point to which a lot of Tim's work has been headed for a long time - this album is... I can't find sufficient adjectives. So, so great. And absolutely evergreen. I've given it close to 20 listens now in less than two weeks and I only love it more every time.
